With the temps more bearable this wochenende, gear up for a handful of dancefloor marathons, including Leisure System‘s 7th birthday and the return of Motor City Drum Ensemble to Get Deep, alongside the debut of the Ry X and Frank Wiedermann curated Sacred Ground – just a short train ride into schön-as-things-get Brandenburg countryside.
Below are some of the events we are recommending for the week ahead in Berlin. Each of them are either highlighted with a:
Bron loves it! – more electronic, than not.
Lucy loves it! – more pop vibes/ not techno.
Everyone loves it! – 2.5 words: shit’s ACE and/or edible.
BERGHAIN/PANORAMA BAR – Bron loves it!
This one’s so good, I’ve cut a Croatian holiday short to make it back in time the doors open. Celebrating 7 years of bringing sounds beyond house and techno inside Berghain’s behemoth walls. Leisure System #25 is a 10/10 affair. The main floor opening with Gonsher, moving onto a live set from T.B. Arthur, then 3 hours from Daniel Avery, a live set from Ceephax Acid Crew and Perc annihilation ’til close. Upstairs: shit’s equally bananas, with (in running order), Barker & N>E>D, Nathan Fake (live), Kowton, KiNK live and Avalon Emerson. Prediction: a full house and sweaty, ravey, vibes.

://ABOUT BLANK – Bron loves it!
As far as summer clubs go, settings don’t get much schöner than ://about blank with it’s wild, never-ending garden and inside and outside dancefloors. This Sat into Sund, tap into those al fresco feelings with one delicious night & day marathon via their in-house night Get Deep. Leading the charge, Motor City Drum Ensemble (MCDE) who’s boogie-laden thang probably needs no introduction however for a warm up, treat yo self over here. A drawcard alone, the rest of the line-up is still hefty including Damiano von Erckert (Ava Records), Daniel Wang (Balihu), Gatto fritto (International Feel), Claire Morgan (DJ page) (Haul Music), Get Deep residents Charlie Smooth, Nano Nansen (Get Deep, The Gym) and DJ Xing (Get Deep, ://about blank), and more. Bonus extra: they’ll also be serving up food on Sunday from 12:00 – 21:00. They’re good to you.
TRAMPE 9 (SACRED GROUND FESTIVAL) – Bron loves it!
Fancy fresh air and a little adventure outside the ring? This Samstag sees the debut of the Ry X and Frank Wiedermann curated Sacred Ground, a one day, one night festival one hour-ish north of Berlin. Centred around an 100 year old barn (and by the looks of things a tonne of schön fields and trees), the day should be filled with all sorts of nice feelings with the pretty setting paired with a line-up that finds the curators performing together as Howling, and as Ry X & Ame, and joined by David August, Adam Freeland, Dauwd, Dream Koala and more. For those not fancying the all-nighter, camping is also included in the ticket and we’re told the train journey is an einfach Brandenburg ticket from Berlin. Looking for an hassle free festival/mini-break? This is your ticket.
