What’s Up Weekend? 3 – 9 April

We’re back in Berlin, and what a delicious weekend to return for! Enjoy the sun by Tag, and get all over one of the following parties by nacht. KISSES XX

Below are some of the events we are recommending for the week ahead in Berlin. Each of them is either highlighted with a:

Bron loves it! – more electronic, than not.
Lucy loves it! – more indie boy band/ pop vibes/ not techno.
Everyone loves it! – 2.5 words: shit’s ACE.

***DISCLAIMER: these aren’t the only discos that are going on – they are just the ones that stand out.

AKA – Everybody loves it!

Kick off your weekend in the finest of fashions this Friday, and celebrate the launch of a new design collaboration between Dr Martens Germany & AKA Berlin’s Philippe Fernandez. Throw in all sorts of free boozery and tunes from eclectic sound selector, Demons Galore, and this is looks like an ideal Freitag abend. Taking place at Neukölln’s tattoo and piercing atelier/art gallery AKA, drinks will be a ganz lecker selection from Our/BerlinVeltins and Thomas Henry. From 20:00, winding up around 23:00.

Also worth checking out:

PRINCE CHARLES – T Room Sessions w/ Marc Schneider, Yooj – MEHR INFOS (early)

PRINCE CHARLES – AUS Music Label night w/ Will Saul, Appleblim – MEHR INFOS (late)

LOFTUS HALL – Sensa Nostra Magazine Spring Party – MEHR INFOS

STATTBAD – Bron loves it!

The pool will be open this Sat for what should be a pretty banging affair in Wedding’s Stattbad, lead by Dutch master Legowelt. Performing live, Danny Wolfer will likely be featuring a whole lot of new material off this week release, Crystal Cult 2080. He’ll be joined in the deep end by George FitzGerald (Hotflush), Sven Weisemann (Mojuba) and Deviant Groove (Stattbad), with Hans Bouffmyhere (Sleaze), Ed Davenport (Falkplatz), (Viktoria Rebeka (LDNwht) and Andrejko (Stattbad) on the Boiler floor.

FARBFERNSEHER  – II with Palms Trax, Dynamo Dreesen, JM Moser – MEHR INFOS

CHESTERS – Bron loves it!

Well, this is a treat! The Buff Dance, a vibey little party that made it’s mark in 2013 with nights at Club der Visionaere, returns this Sunday for some school night fun. Tapping into the cosiness of Kreuzberg’s Chesters, residents Preesh Mendez (visiting from Estonia) and Bakey USTL will rotate throughout the night with deliciously selected house, old and new. Kicking off at 23:00 – we think this is well worth a shaky start on Monday.

NAHERHOLONG STERNCHEN – Everybody loves it!

Feel like something a little emotional (in a good way) this mid-week abend? Then this Shameless/Limitless party with Canada’s Teen Daze might well be your ticket. Returning to Berlin as part of a Euro tour to show off new LP, Glacier, things should get all sorts of dreamy, with the bill rounded off by locals Magic Island and PONY. And if you’ve never made it to Sternchen, this might be one of your last opps – they’re set to close their doors for good at the end of April.

About BRON

Bron writes on all things techno. If there's a party at the club, she is probably there - with fiddy and all the gang. She also likes gluten free bread (because she can't eat wheat) and wine.
