I have asked my mate Bron to give us a round-up of what’s going on in Berlin each week. Allowing us all to machen die Party. I’m not very techno-techno-techno – but Berlin is, and so is your mate Bron. Each event is either highlighted with a:
Bron loves it! – more electronic, than not.
Lucy loves it! – more indie boy band/ pop vibes/ not techno.
Everyone loves it! – 2.5 words: shit’s ACE.
Here are your go-to’s for the week ahead.
**DISCLAIMER: these aren’t the only discos that are going on – they are just the ones that stand out.

THURSDAY
FESTAAL KREUZBERG – Bron loves it! And wishes she was going!
If happy vibes and delicious disco is your thing – you’d want to be here tonight, to bask, shimmy and generally be joyous with the one and only, Theo Parrish. The man is a legend, and for good reason too. I was fortunate enough to be treated to his memorable set at Dimensions Festival last year, and had Flowers in my head ever since. Go and get your Easter weekend going in the most feel good of ways.
RITTER BUTZKE – Bron loves it!
A bit hit and miss, Ritter Butzke can be fun with the right line up, and this could be one of those nights. BNJMN, Session Victim, Soulphiction and Hunee take to Kreuzberg 61 for the mostly housey Sometimes I Feel Like. Despite not being an overly big club, I’ve managed to get disoriented/lost each time I’ve been there, and it seems I’m not alone. Embrace that?

FRIDAY
PANORAMA BAR – Bron loves it! And of course she’s going!
Ben UFO and Joy O were all set to take Pbar to the next level back in Jan. Then it snowed in England, British airports packed it in and the great men were unable to leave the isle. Good Friday – take two. Very little needs to be said here – tonight will undoubtedly be full of epic moments with the hourly ‘fuck yeah’ count likely at a high. Joined by Workshop’s Lowtec, with only Pbar in action you’d want to get there early.
BI NUU – Everyone loves it!
Disclosure have undeniably killed it these past 12-18 months and while ‘crossover appeal‘ might draw a mixed crowd, their live show is a thing, a really good thing and just demands a good time. If despite the delicious house/garage vibes you’re still struggling to ignore the bouncing teen next to you (yes, they probably are Disclosure face app-ing themselves and all their friends), shots are around €2 and there are two easily reachable bars. Sort yourself out.

SATURDAY
STATTBAD – Everyone loves it! Everyone is going!
The long weekend of feeel good continues north this evening with your euphoric sorted thanks to Stattbad. The ever-interesting Jay Haze returns to the DE, joined by Belgian techno purveyor Peter Van Hoesen, blissful house selector Matthew Dekay and local house/techno charmer Ed Davenport. I wouldn’t put it past there being some raised hands and shared smiles with strangers. Come at me, euphoria.
WATERGATE – Bron loves it!
Wanna channel your House Gangster? Don’t fight it, it doesn’t hurt to get a little bad ass every now and again. For your fix, head to Falckensteinstraße 49 where everyone’s favourite Puerto Rican Chicagoan, DJ Sneak takes over the Watergate mainfloor. Classic house and fine company in the form of Dave Aju, &me and Mike Shannon.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY/MONDAY (…only at Berghain)
BERGHAIN/ PANORAMA BAR – Bron loves it! Bron may be going!
It’s a long weekend, it’s Berghain. It’s predictably a good one. It’s a potential 48+Stunden affair. On Saturday the floors will be split as Berghain does it’s quarterly men-only Snax, while Panorama Bar hosts Dinky, Luke Solomon and Tevo Howard. Sonntag the floors combine and the free-for-all steps up with greatness c/o Laurent Garnier joined by Soul Clap, Axel Boman, Kim Ann Foxman, Edward, Oskar Offermann and resident nd_baumecker. Moving into Monday, the most longest lasting of techno legs will be required for a likely marathon set from main man, Ben Klock. Kudos to those who make it through.
