REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL 2013: Benjamin Clementine

SHARE ME:

Almost finished with our Who to see/ do at Reeperbahn Festival – and it feel like no time as gone at all.. Giddy-up. We’re told that at 20 Benjamin Clementine fled London for Paris, found himself homeless and began busking in Montmarte’s Place de Clichy metro station to survive. A self-trained pianist this was his first foray into singing, and on one of these days he was discovered by a label owner’s friend. A tonne of gigs and support from Jools Holland later – the now-25 year old is quite frankly, killing it.

With lots of feedback also praising his charm as a live performer, we think this one is a MUST SEE of Reeperbahn 2013. Old mate be hitting this grand festival from 25 – 28 September, which if you are not aware Reeperbahn Festival is a musical smorgasbord of hot fresh out the oven acts from all over the globe, right here in Germany.. So if that isn’t reason enough to head to the fair city of Hamburg…

God knows what is.
