This is sort of McDreamy – Jamie (from the Xx) remixed Gil Scott-Heron’s 2010 album “I’m New Here” – you need to go listen to NY is Killing Me HERE – it’s sort of fabulous.
The total Album remixed (by Jamie from the xx – keep up!) is out Feb 2011 sometime. Bit pumped.
I can’t figure out if it is Mr Scott-Heron’s semi smoking voice – or the whole package. But I’m sort of in love with it..
