SXSW
I am going to SXSW – and as a result, anything I find, write on or rep which relates to SXSW will go here. It might interest you, it might not. Frankly – I want to go to SXSW for cheap, so if I have to blow their shit up I will. All in the name of free tickets.
So we had our first every Lucy vs. America Spreecast this Saturday > and I’m going to say, it didn’t suck as much as I had anticipated.. I mean we had a few difficulties, and there were moments of “No Lucy, just no.” But we moved forward on all of that, and we made it work.
We will be doing another one this week – time/ date TBD > but if you missed our first ep (as we like to call it) then you should watch it above. Mereki and I caught up with Leopold slash Daniel from Leopold and his Fiction. He was a riot, is playing at S-by, and is not an eyesore > at all. So hit play, have a watch.

Breton | These guys > bringing up the B’s in a strong fashion. This letter is the sexiest of the bunch. The music makes me feel so good damn giddy > it’s divine. I actually can’t wait to catch this team at SX, and I am sort of hoping they want to hang out with me, and just be cool.. slash I will be cool by association > details.
Blood Orange | Stop it delicious wonders. I throw around love adore cherish quite a lot, but seriously > I love adore AND cherish you. You make my heart skip a dance beat, and I’m into it. Like in the sauciest way possible > I wanna hit play, over and over.
Beach Fossils | Brooklyn band, swoon me softly swoon me well. I can and always will be able to melt to Beach Fossils. I get that I can’t be friends with everyone who lives in/ around the New York area – but I think I would really like to be friends with band – maybe date one of them > and they could lullaby me to sweet sleep > day and night. #leswoon.
Blood Diamonds | Canada – mate. I’m all over you. Been sort of majorly into Blood Diamonds for a while now and listening back over his business > shit doesn’t disappoint. Kind of pumped our mates crossing the boarder and giving Texas a red hot go, it wouldn’t be the same without you babe X.

Alpine: From Melbourne Australia – therefore automatically SICKKKKK. think we might be friends with friends of friends.. So maybe we should get drinks – talk about how rad you are, how above average I am, and how funny Americans are – in general.
American Royalty: These guys are so yummy it almost makes me sick. In that really cool rock n roll but not rock n roll way at all > say it with me – swoon. Missed out on them last year at SX, and pretty much every other concert they have played in the Bay Area. NOT THIS YEAR.
ANR: I can’t stop loving this band, who KNEW Miami would produce boy band wonders such as these. Makes my toes curl a bit, and we’ve barely even STARTED! If I miss these kids at SX > which might happen because I just get so overwhelmed I drink beer > I will find you in Miami, and we WILL bro out.. (and you WILL like it!)
