So we made it to the ACE hotel (this was in fact posted dayzzz after leaving the Ace hotel – which can be realised by the “future photo’s” of Utah and Arizona) – HURRAH! not going to lie > this hotel is the tits. I had managed to get it cheap online like a while ago, and it is moments like this I am grateful I subscribe to all the discount holiday spam (Living Social/ Jetsetter/ Groupon etc.) without you guys, we wouldn’t be here. Or we would but it would be like $150 more expensive.
Life on the road (the whole
four 12 days of it) has been kind of AMAZING. We are such tourists, it makes me sick > but in a good way, sort of. Don’t hate each other yet > positives. Seeing sick things > other positives. Travelling across America really does highlight the fact that American’s are on a different level, and it’s not just me. If I was by myself > and I thought Americans were next level humans, I might put it down to me being weird. But I’m not alone in this.
After seeing the many weird and wonderful US’ers (and please note the 4 day length) I’m tempted to start a American Tourist-wear tumblr. Because that’s on it’s head. Scrunchy socks that should have actually been left in the 90’s, bum bags worn high around the waistline, old shitty sneakers with jeans, those trousers with the zip off bottoms. These are my people for the next 5 weeks, and sadly – I think I’m a bit into it.
Thought I would share a few special moments from the trip. I instagramed them all because everything looks prettier instagramed.
That’s a good tip > having an ugly day? Instagram is the answer.
